THE WEEK RUNNING UP TO THE EVENT
Only Masters competitors shall not climb at Energiehaven the week prior to the competition to keep everything fair for everyone. Keep in mind that we have another facility in Leiden, that you are welcome to visit during this week and of course Boulderhal Sterk is available in Utrecht. Clients who wish to climb at Energiehaven the week prior to the event will be able to do so, but there might be a few restricted areas due to preparations.

WHO CAN APPLY FOR VOLUNTEERING?
Everyone is welcome to volunteer! Volunteers are a key component of every competitions' success. We need judges, isolation coordinators and brushers. Everything you need to know will be explained before each round. A few positions require prior experience. Volunteers can compete in the Recreational competition at no cost. They will also receive a free t-shirt and a meal voucher. Want to help? Let us know at management@boulderhalenergiehaven.nl

TRAVEL INFORMATION
Utrecht does not have an international airport. The nearest airport is Schiphol. This is a major international airport served by most airlines including some budget airlines. Approx 40km from Utrecht with a direct train line from the airport to Utrecht. For public transport details see www.9292.nl

GETTING THERE / PARKING
Obviously we're going to be very busy over the Dock Masters weekend, so there will be limited parking available. Some of which belongs to other businesses so please respect their signage. The best scenario would be that you cycle, get the bus or train down. If this isn't possible, then please try to share a car.

NOT FOR PROFIT
Ticket sales will cover just over half of the costs associated with running such a big competition. We try to aim towards not losing too much money organizing this event. Really good sponsoring will make the entry fee go down. We're not organizing it to make money. We do it because we want to give something back not only to our customers but to the competition scene in the Netherlands. We want to create a competition that will attract not only the best climbers in the Netherlands but also from Europe and maybe even further abroad. Watching semis and finals should hopefully get you even more psyched about your own climbing!

Whether you compete or just watch the show, we hope you really enjoy your weekend at Dock Masters 2020!
